Meeting for learning, processing, grieving, healing, and growing, we may incorporate a personalized blend of somatics, psychoeducation, and an "intuitive" approach to nutrition as these are foundational to your well-being. We will collaborate in a way that feels most empowering to you. Our time together may result in understanding, validating, appreciating, trusting, and even liking yourself more deeply. I meet with:

Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with an Emphasis in Professional Clinical Counseling Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a Concentration in Psychology

Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist*

My set rate is $135/ 45-50-minute session.

I meet online (only) with clients who live in Illinois and Indiana.

You can use Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance if you have it!

We can also provide you with a superbill if your insurance allows us to meet out-of-network.

While I am not currently able to offer sliding scale, I am committed to accessibility and recommend Inclusive Therapists or trying Open Path Collective in your search!

*Marriage and Family Therapy teaches systemic thinking. As a therapist, I consider how my clients operate within and are affected by their family systems. However, this field is generally lacking in understanding of the broader societal systems in which we find ourselves and how we are affected by them. The therapeutic relationship is incomplete without this consideration.

I meet with clients online who live in the States we call Illinois and Indiana, while I myself sit and stand and live on homelands belonging to the Anishinaabe People of the Three Fires: the United Nations of the Ojibwe (Chippewa), Odawa (Ottawa), and Bodéwadmi (Potawatomi). Chicago is one of many places I call home, and has long been home to the fourth largest urban native community in the United States. This community is also composed of members of the Miami, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, and Sac and Fox tribes who, along with the Three Fires Council, continue to care for this city; her lands, air, and water. Acknowledgment and declaration is a starting point toward collective land sovereignty, Land Back, and BDS.

To combat colonization and offer my best to my clients, I am continuously considering these broader systems. I remain committed to challenging my thinking and making conscientious choices in the way I interact with the environment I call home I practice continuous reflection and lifelong learning alongside my supervisor, colleagues, and clients in Illinois and Indiana as part of Hold the Vision Therapy Chicago.

All bodies are good bodies. Black Lives more than Matter, Trans Lives more than Matter, and of course Black Trans Lives infinitely Matter. I advocate for disability solidarity and justice. These values form the context of my therapeutic approach.
