Parents - especially first-timers! - can always benefit from psychoeducation and a little tweaking. My approach centers positive and authoritative parenting styles. Children, adolescents, and teens benefit from therapy, too! Meeting with a therapist supports developmental stages to strengthen self-awareness, motivation, bodily autonomy, boundaries and communication, peer relationships, and emotional regulation. Having a personal advocate who is validating and encouraging can boost confidence and self-efficacy. We can tailor your sessions to alternate between parents, siblings, and individuals.
